our girls are growing up to quick!!

My girls love to help in the kitchen..especially if they want eggs for breakfast. They love to crack the eggs & whip them up. They also like cooking them too. I don't mind them learning how to cook nor do I mind them helping, but the one thing I do mind is that this is a sign of them wanting to be more independent & they are growing up! I am not ready at all..but I know it is gonna happen whether I like it or not. However I must say that I am happy that they do take an interest in helping out & wanting me to show them how to do things. I love feeling needed by them (even though I just want some alone time here & there) & saying "mommy, I want to do it" or "how do you do it?". I know I need to get over it, but they are my babies & we are not having anymore unless the Man upstairs has other ideas..lol:) What I am trying to say is that Leann & Johnny are grown now & it went by so fast..We do try to take in every moment with them, but before you know it....they are off doing their own thing. I am blessed to have wonderful children & God knows I love them more than life it's self! I am just not ready to let them grow up..so I will enjoy every moment & capture all the memories I can:)
