Gabriella's 'spacer" is finally out!

Gabriella's spacer was starting to feel uncomfortable for a few days prior before it started coming out on it's own last Friday night (during a party I was having). There was nothing we could because the Orthodontist was closed. I tried to see if the other side of the spacer was loose but it was in there pretty tight. I tried to tug on it abit , but it hurt her so I left it be. so she pushed side that is hanging back up in her teeth. We had an appointment scheduled but because it was half way out we had to make the appointment sooner. She could not wait for it to come out. Daddy took her to the Orthodontist & the Doctor had to use a special tool to get it out. She got fitted for a different mouth piece (Miranda goes next week for her fitting). After she came home with the spacer, she said the roof of her mouth feels funny. It will take time to get use too sweetheart "I said". Her teeth look really good & straight. We had to threaten her not to suck her thumb again..I think she will do just fine!
